The course of the stay
Arrivals generally take place in the late afternoon—for example, on a Sunday evening for a 6-day discovery stay.
From Monday to Saturday, the day is generally structured around the following activities:
- Educational workshop, including a presentations on legal and financial models, and sessions on communal living
- Guided visits of the eco-hamlet, the ecological homes, the Amma Center, the old-age home “Aînes du Plessis”, the Montessori school, or another eco-project in the area.
- Collective work sessions during 2 or 3 mornings from 10:00 a.m. to noon (involving gardens, eco-construction, or organic gardening).
- Evening sessions that may be spent together or at one’s own leisure, featuring options such as dinners with residents, folk dances, game nights, or film screenings.
Participation in these activities is encouraged but remains optional. Information is also available regarding tourist activities in the region, particularly within the Perche Regional Natural Park (PNR du Perche).
For meals, you have several options: you can cook together in the communal kitchen of the shared house, or eat out (La Maison Jaune, an organic restaurant and community café, is located right next door). Many meals will be shared with members of the eco-hamlet—organized as a potluck, where everyone contributes something to share.

2-days or 4-days stays also exist and the course is adapted. The 2-days stays include all the means (breakfasts, lunches and dinners).
The prices
The stay includes accommodation in the communal house (attractive rooms with earthen-plaster walls, a shared kitchen, and shared bathrooms), as well as organized activities and group sessions. For 2-day stays, the price also includes meals. For 4- or 6-day stays, you will receive a complimentary basket of organic vegetables from the village and other local products upon arrival; you will need to supplement this with your own additional provisions.
For a 6-day stay, the rates are:
- €320 for a single person (small room)
- €400 for a couple (small room)
- €440 for a family (a couple with 1 or 2 children) Please see the form below for further pricing details.
Dates in 2027 For now, only 2 dates are scheduled for 2027:
- April 18 to 24, 2027 (6 days)
- May 5 to 9, 2027 (4 days) You will receive the detailed program for each of these trips approximately one month before the start date.
